Pacific Life Insurance chooses The Training Guy for Online Learning content migration projects.

June 3, 2007 - The Training Guy has been selected by Pacific Life Insurance to migrate a library of legacy e-learning courses for the Pacific Life Academy - the company's corporate campus. The goal of this project is to help the Academy transition to a rapid e-learning development model.

The project will involve the migration of more than twenty existing online courses from SumTotalSystem's Outliner and ToolBook products to Articulate Presenter. Completion of this project is expected in late August.

April 9, 2007 - Selected in October 2006 by the Vignette Education Services Group, The Training Guy was tasked with the design and development of the next generation of Vignette User Enablement (VUE), the global online learning offering for End User application training on Vignette’s flagship products.

  The ensuing three month project resulted in the selection of a new online learning development platform and more than 3,000 pages of content in seven new courses, including one localized in Spanish. The response from clients and channel partners to the new course offerings was overwhelming, and sales for the VUE product line increased dramatically over the previous year.

As a result of the success of this project, The Training Guy was the honored recipient of Vignette's annual Excellence in Education Award for outstanding achievement in educational development.
