HP Software Education selects The Training Guy to lead development of new End User Training curriculum.
March 3, 2008 - AUSTIN, TX. - HP Software Education (HPSE) today selected The Training Guy to develop a new online learning curriculum focused on the enablement of the End Users of HP Software products. This new curriculum - branded as HP Software End User Training (or EUT) - is a Flash-based online learning offering designed to deliver pre-deployment, just-in-time, post-deployment, and/or reference training for the semi-technical or non-technical End User audience of HP Software products.

Unlike the current HPSE Web Based Training (WBT) courses, which are intended for the Technical Users (i.e. Network Admins, System Admins, etc.), EUT courses are designed specifically to address the training needs of the broader End User audience within a client organization. EUT courses employ a myriad of interactive content to provide End Users with an understanding of how to effectively leverage HP Software products to meet their daily business needs.

HP Software Support partners with The Training Guy to create online training for support customers.
January 5, 2008 - AUSTIN, TX - When HP Software Support launched their new website - Software Support Online (SSO) - they knew there would be a need to provide training for customers visiting the site. To help address this need, they partnered with The Training Guy to develop a self-paced online learning tutorial to assist their support customers in the effective use of this new self-service website.

The result is the SSO Customer Training Tutorial - a Flash-based, audio-driven course that provides instruction on the major features and functionality of the new self-service site for all HP Software Support customers. The course is customer-facing and accessed for free via the HP SSO Tutorial link on the HP SSO website.

Febuary 4, 2007 - AUSTIN, TX. - Selected by the Vignette Education Services team, The Training Guy was tasked with the design and development of the next generation of Vignette User Enablement (VUE), the global online learning offering for End User application training on Vignette’s flagship products.

  The three month project which followed resulted in the selection of a new online learning development platform, and more than 3,000 pages of content in seven new courses - including one localized in Spanish. The response from clients and channel partners to the new course offerings was overwhelming, and sales for the VUE product line increased dramatically year over.

As a result of the success of this project, The Training Guy was the honored recipient of an Excellence in Education Award for outstanding achievement
in educational development.
